Three Cities to Consider

Three Cities to Consider:

  • Gilbert
  • Paradise Valley
  • Oro Valley

#1 Gilbert, AZ

The population in Gilbert continues to climb at a rapid pace, still around 10 percent with an estimated population of around 130,000 as of 2013. This population rate presents a remarkable opportunity for a franchisee looking to get in on the ground floor and become a part of the community while the community is still being formed. In addition to the business opportunity, Gilbert offers a desirable climate for those who like it hot. Most days in Gilbert, the temperature is over 70 degrees and rarely falls below freezing in the winter months. Gilbert was also named one of the top places to live and learn by GreatSchools.org and rated the safest municipality in Arizona by CQ Press.

#2 Paradise Valley, AZ

A small town with a population of only 12,820 as of the 2010 census, Paradise Valley has made a name for itself as one of the top tourist destinations in Arizona. Paradise Valley is dominated by mountain ranges, with Mummy Mountain, Camelback Mountain, Piestewa Mountain making up much of the terrain. Paradise Valley has a relatively high cost of living and the median income for a household is over $150,000. Throughout the town’s history, residents have strived to keep the town residential and neighborly. This is a perfect place for franchisees that prefer peace and quiet to big city life. Neighboring Scottsdale is only four miles away for franchisees that wish to set up the franchise location in a larger city. Scottsdale can also provide weekend entertainment with its many events, attractions, and historical locations.

Only about an hour and a half drive from Mexico and six miles away from bustling Tucson, Oro Valley is a medium-sized desert city in a location that is convenient for unique vacation excursions. Oro Valley itself was named #44 on Fortune Small Business magazine’s “Top 100 Best Places to Live and Launch” a business in 2008. The city was also named as one of the best places to raise a family by Family Circle in the same year. Oro Valley offers residents top rated schools, many parks, and several historic points of interest.
