• Stanley did not actually steal the shoes, it was actually zero. Zero threw the the shoes over the rail and landed in front of Stanley. The cops came in time to arrest Stanley.

• Stanley is the victim when zero threw the shoes, Stanley is a witness as well.

CRIME

• The crime was that Zero stole the shoes because he thought it was not a crime.
