He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Jesus was then crucified on the cross. The anniversary of this day is Good Friday.

Jesus was buried in a tomb...(Luke 24) but very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking spices they had prepared. They found that the tomb had been rolled away from the entrance. They went in, but they didn't find the body of the Lord Jesus.

Jesus defeated death and gave us eternal life. He was wounded for our sins. Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit from heaven.
