DEFINITION
Premature ejaculation is when a man ejaculates sooner during sexual intercourse than he or his partner would like.
It is also related to involuntary ejaculation, meaning the 'host' does not have control over when he is to ejaculate.
Lifelong & Acquired are two classifications for premature ejaculation.

HOW IT AFFECTS THE INDIVIDUAL, PARTNERS AND FRIENDS
Drop of self esteem.
Partner will not be impressed from the performance.
Friends might be embarrassed to be friends with someone with premature ejaculation.
However, it's best to support them and help them overcome PE.

HOW TO ELIMINATE OR MINIMISE THE PROBLEM
A common treatment for premature ejaculation involves behavioral techniques. One is the stop-start technique.
Anesthetic creams and sprays are used to delay ejaculation by reducing the sensation. (It contains a numbing agent)

STATISTICS
Premature ejaculation is the most common male sexual dysfunction.
On average 50-95% of men using techniques manage to overcome PE.
Premature ejaculation affects 14-30% of males aged 18 and above.

CAUSES
Exact cause is unknown, but it is down to a couple of factors, both psychological and biological.
Psychological factors include sexual abuse, poor body image, depression and early sexual experiences.
Biological features such as inflammation and infection of the prostate or urethra, genetically acquired traits and abnormal hormone levels.
