THE RETURN TO BETHEL

• God wanted Jacob to go settle in Bethel And build an altar there for God.
• Jacob told his household to get rid of all their foreign gods and the rings in their ears.
• God appeared to jacob and blessed him and he changed his name to Isreal.
• God said that Jacob will have a community of nations and he will live on this land.

REBECCA IN LABOR

• Rachel went into labor on the way to Ephrath.
• She had a son and with her last breath she named him Ben-Oni.
• But Jacob changed his name to Benjamin.
• She was buried on the way to Ephrath and Jacob set up a marker for her.

iSAAC'S DEATH

• Jacob went back to where Abraham and Isaac had lived.
• Isaac had lived 180 years.
• He was buried with his ancestors, where Esau and Jacob had buried Him.
