Tourism Characteristics

Ireland is a very diverse country that contains many traditions, foods, history and customs. Some of Ireland's history includes the Irish potato famine from 1845-1849, the formation of Northern Ireland (1920) and the formation of the republic of Ireland (1949). Architecture is also something that was affected by history. In the 12th century the main architecture was tower houses. In the 18th century the architecture consisted of paladin, Georgian, crude cottages and bungalows. Tourism Characteristics

As you already know not every culture is the same, there are many different types of foods, customs, history and festivals around the world. Some traditional foods that are served in England consist of the traditional full English
breakfast which contains bacon, eggs, fried or grilled tomatoes, fried mushrooms,
toast and sausage, usually served with a cup of coffee or tea. The other food being roast beef. England also has many festivals, mainly that of music. Some customs that are practiced in England are alike in Canada in a sense that you shake hands and say please and thank you very often and you do not cut in lines. However patience is taken very seriously and should be followed like a rule. England also has a rich history that we have learned about in our education system. Architecture in England is very distinct in a sense that history had a large role in what was built, ranging from castles to the ornate churches still standing today.
