• Judge Miller: Rich guy with a business. Bucks 1st owner until buck was stollen from one of millers servants.

• Stealers: They beat buck and made dogs work

SLED TEAM

• The criminals make him work on a sled team. He gets in a fight with the lead dog. Buck survives and becomes lead.

JOHN THORNTON

• Bucks 2nd real owner. He saved buck from the cage.

BUCK

• Saves John from many accidents but John dies from the Indians.

BUCK

• Buck some how joins a wild wolf pack and become leader. He learns many things in the book.
