JUDAISM
- Believe that God is one and unique.
- Moses is the greatest prophet.
- The Torah (1st 5 books of the Bible) and oral Torah were given to Moses
- The messiah will come
- The dead will be resurrected
BASIC INFORMATION
- Symbol - Star of David
- Characters - Characters - Prophet Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and God.
- History - started in what is now Israel and Palestine.
- Characters are made Sacred people by God and will give them holy land.
- Given God's law at Mountain Sinai
ISLAM
- Belief - Believe and recite shahadah. Shahadah ; There is no God but God and Mohammed is his Prophet.
- Believe in God; his Angels, his books, Prophets and Messengers of God, in the Day of Judgement, and Qadar
- Qadar means predestination
- Characters - God, Mohammed, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali
- Symbol - the crescent moon and star
BASIC INFORMATION
- History - Started in the Arabian peninsula.
- Angel Jibril told him to read in the name of your Lord twice and he said he couldn't at Mountain Sinai.
- Then the angel taught him the scriptures of the Quran by recitation and memorization
