  • Example:The Silk Road, a trade route between China and the Mediterranean Sea, promoted the exchange of ideas and knowledge, along with trade goods and foods such as silk, spices, porcelain, and other treasures from the East.
  • It affects people because the Silk Road made it easier to trade things from different countries

COMMUNICATION

  • Example: Through globalization, people may become aware of incidents very quickly.
  • This affects people because through the internet our world is more n connected than ever

  • Example: Increased international travel has also helped globalization. Each year, millions of people move from one country to another in search of work
  • It affects people because travel and tourism have made people more familia with other cultures,Travelers are exposed to new food and other things they haven't seen or experienced before

POPULAR CULTURE

  • Example: India, for instance, has a thriving film industry, nicknamed “Bollywood.” Bollywood movies are popular both in India and with the huge population of Indians living abroad
  • Because of globalization we can share our ideas on clothing, goods, food and more leaving us with the same perspective on the items

ECONOMY

  • Example: American software companies, such as Microsoft, rely on international trade to make large profits.
  • It affects people because it provides people jobs and money . Companies and people can invest money in one country for a company that is located in another.

  • Countries frequently cooperate to enact trade agreements. They work together to open their borders to allow the movement of money and people needed to keep economic globalization working.
  • This affects people because it influences political views on big issues.

  • Improves economy in poor countries
  • Connects unlikely countries together
  • Provides cultural intermingling
  • Receive goods from other countries
  • Sharing ideas with developing countries helps them grow

  • Travelers spread communicable diseases
  • Can lead to exploitation of labor
  • People lose jobs thanks to outsourcing
  • Big corporations in multiple countries are accused of having unfair working conditions for their employees
  • Big corporations can majorly impact political decisions
  • One culture will dominate others
