The main problem was that dawns mom had to get heart surgery and her family used most of the money for that so they had to move and dawn did not want to leave her friends but there was a house for sale that everyone thought was haunted so they tried to clean out the house will dawns family be able to buy the house

When the kids were cleaning the house they found a dog it was the he man who use to live there dog her name was Sally dawn wanted to keep it but she dident have room in her house to so then Bayor said they could keep Sally at his house and Bayor mom wants everything clean so when she saw the dog she said to have it stay outside then Bayor mom said for the kids to go up stairs and Bayor mom gave Sally a bath with lilac and it smelled so Sally smelt like lilac for a long time.
