1847 by John Gauld

Fantail

The Fantail has a tail like a fan

and uses it to attract female Fantails

Fantail protects the terotory.

The Fantail female lays it's eggs

in August to Janurary.

The Kaka has red under wings and when

it flies it looks amazing

Did you know that the kaka is cousin to

the Kea but the Kaka has a silver head.

The Kaka used to be in Australia but

the Aborigines killed them all for food
