HOW DID THIS CASE ARRIVE IN THE SUPREME COURT?

  • The case went to trial in an Arizona state court. Miranda was convicted and sentenced to 20 to 30 years in prison. Miranda's attorney appealed to the Arizona Supreme Court. Then he appealed to the United States Supreme Court, which agreed to hear it along with four other similar cases.

MY OPINION

  • I side with Supreme Court Justice because what Ernesto did was wrong and there's no excuse for that. So he should sit in jail and deserves what he gets.
