PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Prayers of Confession & Repentance
Leader - Paul asserts that he has freedom to do anything!
People - Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ.
1 Corinthians 9:19 (NLT2)
Leader - The Christian life involves both freedom and discipline.
People - When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law.
1 Corinthians 9:20 (NLT2)
Leader - The goals of Paul's life were to glorify God and bring people to Christ.
People - When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.
1 Corinthians 9:21 (NLT2)
Leader - Paul stayed free of any philosophical position or material entanglement that might sidetrack him, while he strictly disciplined himself to carry out his goal.
People - When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some.
1 Corinthians 9:22 (NLT2)
Leader - For Paul, both freedom and discipline were important tools to be used in God's service.
People - I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.
1 Corinthians 9:23 (NLT2)
Lord I lift your name on high
Lord I love to sing your praises
I'm so glad you are in my life
I'm so glad you came to save us
You came from heaven to earth, to show the way
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky, Lord I lift your name on high
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I'll worship Your Holy name
The sun comes up
It's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass
And whatever lies before me
Let me be singing
When the evening comes
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I'll worship Your Holy name
You're rich in love
And You're slow to anger
Your name is great
And Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness
I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons
For my heart to find
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I'll worship Your Holy name
Bless You Lord
And on that day
When my strength is failing
The end draws near
And my time has come
Still my soul will
Sing Your praise unending
Ten thousand years
And then forevermore
Forevermore
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I'll worship Your Holy name

Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.
Lord, I will lift mine eyes to the hills
Knowing my help is coming from You
Your peace, You give me in time of the storm
You are the source of my strength
You are the strength of my life
I lift my hands in total praise to you
You are the source of my strength
You are the strength of my life
I lift my hands in total praise to you
Amen, Amen
