• Diotrephes is overly dominating
• Do not fight your enemies with evil or imitate
• He will see them face to face later

Talks about the truth

Differences
John 2 is to the chosen lady
John 3 is to Gaius
John 3 has a little bit of a greeting and praises in the beginning and John 2 does not
John 3 talks of Diotrephes and John 2 does not
John 2 talks a lot about love and truth but John 3 does not
