PREMATURE EJACULATION

INTRODUCTION
- Ejaculation is the release of semen from the penis at sexual climax (orgasm).
- The waves of muscles contract to transport the sperm.
WHAT IS PREMATURE EJACULATION?
- It is when a man is unable to control the timing of ejaculation.
- Ejaculation might occur before he and/or his partner is ready.
HOW SOON IS TOO SOON?
- A common misconception of premature ejaculation is that it means to reach climax within roughly one minute.
- However, premature ejaculation is when a man has no control, and so there is no 'too soon'.
STATS
- An estimated 30% of men suffer from premature ejaculation at some point in their life.
- On average 50%-95% of men using sexual techniques manage to overcome PE eventually.
CAUSES
- Acquired premature ejaculation is often caused by performance anxiety.
- Psychological factors such as anxiety, guilt or depression can also be causes.
