The meerkat or suricate (Suricata suricatta) is a small
multicellular organism that lives in the sabana of Kenya. It is made up of eukaryote animal cells.

The meerkat is an heterotroph organism that feeds on lizards, snakes, scorpions, spiders and small mammals, it's carnivorian.

A group of meerkats is called a "mob", "gang" or "clan". A meerkat clan often contains about 20 meerkats, but some super-families have 50 or more members.
