If you left a pencil in the same place when you left it will be in same place when you get back

Even in solids there is a small space between the atoms.

SOLID

  • There is more space between the atoms of the wood then the atoms of the gold

SOLIDS STAY THERE SHAPE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE

LIQUIDS

LIQUIDS DO NOT HOLD THEIR SHAPE OUR ROOM TEMPERATURE

There is a space between the atoms that moves

GASES

GASES NEVER STAY STILL

Like all the gases inside of a balloon never say still

Gases are not influenced by gravity like a liquid or solid is.
