• Radio is a technology of waves that carry information and sound by systematically modulating properties of electromagnetic energy waves transmitted through space

HOW DOES IT WORK

• When radio waves strike an electrical conductor, the oscillating fields induce an alternating current in the conductor. The information in the waves can be extracted and transformed back into its original form.

INVENTION

• It was first applied to communications in 1881 by the French scientist Ernest Mercadier, Alexander Graham Bell adopted "radiophone"
