*Comes from the Greek word that means "sharp" while "moon" comes from the Greek word that means "dull" .Words that really are opposite to each other,would be words that just cannot be put together.
-I can resist anything, except temptation.
- I like a smuggler. He is the only honest thief.
-And faith unfaithful him falsely true.
-Modern dancing is so old fashioned.

ALLUSİON

*An allusion is a reference to a widely known person,place or event. The subject of an allusion is referred to rather than explained in detail.
-Allusions engage the reader and will often help the reader remember the message or theme of the passage.
-Allusions allow the writer to give an example or get a point across without going into a lengthy discourse.

FLASHBACK

*Flashbacks are interruptions that writers do to insert past events in order to provide background or context to the current events of a narrative. By using flashbacks, writers allow their readers to gain insight into a character’s motivation and provide a background to a current conflict. Dream sequences and memories are methods used to present flashbacks.


-Flashback examples. In the Book of Matthew, we see a flashback has been used when Joseph, governor of Egypt, sees his brothers after several years, Joseph “remembered his dreams” about his brothers and how they sold him into slavery in the past.

*An idiom is a phrase or group of words that have a figurative meaning that differs from their literal meanings ,and are understood by many due to common usage and repetition.
- A chip on your shoulder - means you are holding a grudge
-High as a kite - means you are drunk or on drugs
-Sick as a dog - means you are very ill

NARRATOR

One who tells a story ,the speaker or the "voice" of an oral or written work.Although it can ,the narrator is not usually the same person as the author.
