2.
METAMORPHOSIS
Mommy Skeeter lays eggs either in or near water.
Eggs hatch into larvae within 1-2 days.
Within 7-10 days the larvae enters the pupal stage. After they are developed, they break out as adults.
Then, they look for animals or humans to feed on.

DO THEY KNOW KARATE??
Sadly, they do not. They also don't use their sucker as a sword.
Their major defense is stealth.
Their ability to fly fast and maneuver makes them stealthy.

5.
THEY ARE HELPFUL???
This is true! Skeeters pollinate plants just like bees do!
They eat insect droppings. (Yummy!!!)
They also eat honeydew found on trees and plants.
Honeydew is the sticky substance found on trees in the summer.
Without skeeters, this world would be a sticky place!!

Mosquitoes are actually dangerous creatures for their size.
They carry harmful germs and infections.
They can carry malaria, west nile, and lots more.
Just wear your bug spray!!!

FACT OR FICTION?
If a larvae or pupae doesn't have water, it will die.
Larvae or pupae can live in wet dirt.
They are both facts if you wanted to know...
