ARISTOTLE

JAMES ST.DENNIS & BRIANNA EVANS

INFORMATION

  • Aristotle was. Born in 384 B.C
  • And died in 322 B.C
  • Was born In Greece

IMPORTANT CONTIBUTATIONS

  • Aristotle didn't believe in the atomic theory so he made up his own opinions (beliefs) that everything
  • Was made from 4 elements. Which he thought were fire, water, earth, and air.
  • After proving this theory incorrect (Many years after his death) We were able to go more in
  • depth with modern technology and were are able to form what we now know are atoms.
  • And not fire, water, earth, and air.

ARRIVING AT HIS CONCLUSION

  • Because he did not have access to modern
  • Technology, he had to just use what he thought.
  • So why he got the idea of fire, water, air, and earth
  • Is understandable.

ACCEPTED OR DENIED?

  • His theory was obviously denied
  • ... But the amount of time it took is
  • Impressive. It took us almost 2000
  • Years to prove it wrong and make
  • Our modern beliefs in atoms.
