Founding Stuff

• South Carolina was founded by King Charles ll.
• It was founded in 1653
• It's in the south in a region called "Atlantic Plains"

Religion

• SC had free religion until the 1700's when it became Catholic and Jewish
• They worshiped God and praised him by praying

Economy

• People in SC made money by mining, fishing, being a clerk, etc
• It wasn't that easy making money there, because there would be often storms on the coast

Unique things

• SC was the first colony to secede from the union.
• South Carolina was on the seaside, so it was pretty easy to get food

Geography

• SC was basically shaped as, well, a triangle
• Sometimes people fought over fish, and land
• SC was the original province of Carolina
