The first stage of a plant's development is a seed. Without a seed, a plant would not grow, or even be alive!

The second step to a plant's development is germination. Germination is where the seed comes to life.

The third stage to a plant's development is a sprout. A sprout needs a lot of sunlight and water to grow. Sprouts are also very delicate.

The fourth stage to a plants development is an adult. Adults are bigger than the sprout. They can also produce seeds.
