WHAT MOTIVATES THE MAIN CHARACTER'S ACTIONS?
WHAT SURPRISED YOU ABOUT THIS CHARACTER?
- Kim Carpenter was always there for Krickitt even when she rejected him. He did everything he could to make Krickitt love him again.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN CHARACTER'S MOST IMPORTANT TRAITS? WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT?
love, determination, and faith
Love, because he never quits loving his wife, Krickitt.
Determination, because he is determined not to give up on the vow he made to Krickitt.
Faith, because he has faith in God to heal his wife and help her get her memory back.
HOW IS THE MAIN CHARACTER CHANGING THROUGHOUT THE NOVEL?
In the beginning, Kim is very worried about Krickitt, and never gives her much space. As the book goes on he starts giving her more space, and realizing that she is going to take a long time to heal. In the end of the book he has tried all he could to get her love back. He has finally gotten her love again, and they are happily married.
WHO IS THE ANTAGONIST? WHAT MOTIVATES HIM OR HER?
The antagonist is Krickitt Carpenter, the wife of Kim Carpenter. They loved each other until a car crash made Krickitt lose her memory of her husband. Kim loved her so much, and Krickitt did not remember him so she rejected him, didn't talk to him, and was very rude to him. They eventually get along are better, but it was just when she was very sick. Kim's faith for Krickitt motivates her.
IS THE ANTAGONIST LIKABLE EVEN THOUGH SHE IS TRYING TO PREVENT THE CENTRAL CHARACTER FROM ACCOMPLISHING HIS GOALS? WHY?
She is likable, because Kim realizes that Krickitt can't remember him and in his vows he promised to love her in sick and in health. It was very hard for Kim to realize that she couldn't remember him.
WHAT IS ONE THING THE WRITER MAKES YOU CURIOUS ABOUT? WHY?
The writer make me wonder if you could ever really fall in love with the same person again. Krickitt falls in love again with Kim, because Kim did all he could to get her back.
