Aerospace Engineer

These devices help to engage the audience, grab everyone's attention, and establish your confidence as you get going.
Who are Aerospace Space Engineers?
- The design, modeling, development, manufacture, maintenance, testing, analysis, and use of aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, rockets, and missiles is the work of an aerospace engineer.
Aerospace engineers can also be astronauts. Fun Fact-Neil Armstrong was an aerospace engineer.
Engineers who work with aircraft are sometimes called aeronautical engineers, while those who work with spacecraft may be called astronautical engineers.

DUTIES:
- Aerospace engineers typically do the following:
-Direct and coordinate the design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft and aerospace products
-Assess proposals for projects to determine if they are technically and financially feasible
-Determine if proposed projects will result in safe operations that meet the defined goals

DAILY SCHEDULE
- Spend their time reading email messages about problems from the previous day, and manufacturers about how to make parts correctly for use on the Engine.
- And many aerospace engineers assemble and test prepare technical documentation for new engine test plan with analysis & figures talking with vendors and manufacturers about how to make parts correctly for use on the engine.
AEROSPACE ENGINEERS NEED A BACHELORS DEGREE TO MOVE ON TO A JOB
Other types of bachelor's degrees that may lead to aerospace careers are: physics, chemistry, geology, meteorology, mathematics, experimental psychology and biology.

Other Experience for Aerospace Engineers
During high school, students can attend engineering summer camps to see what these and other engineers do. Attending these camps can help students plan their coursework for the remainder of their time in high school.
How will people find out about this product/service/Web site/project? Mentioning vaguely that you'll use social media to get the word out is generally not sufficient. It's important to explain how you'll raise awareness for this in a marketplace that is increasingly cluttered with all sorts of new apps/sites/products/services launching every day. What techniques/tactics/tools will you use, or how will you go about taking advantage of existing or new platforms to reach your intended audience? How will you measure progress in reaching your audience? What will success look like in reaching your audience? What are key metrics/performance indicators that you'll be assessing as your project moves forward?
1. Why did you chose this career?
“I grew up in Queens, NYC about 1/4 mile from John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport in South Jamaica. I use to hear and watch the airplanes take off and land at the airport everyday. I even rode my bike to the airport on many occasions to watch the airplanes land and take-off from the runway. I was amazed at how they worked with the engines on the wing.”
“The biggest problem is to understand how the "real world" differs from the "theoretical world" in practice. In theory, everything works perfectly. But, in the real world, things don't always work as they are calculated. This is because engineering and Science is based upon many "simplifying assumptions" of difficult concepts in equation format. Sometimes, the assumptions don't always work according to the formula. Therefore, Engineering and Science also requires a lot of "Trial and Error" to make things work properly.”
3. What is an aspect of your job that most people do not know about?
“Engineers spend a lot of time doing written and verbal presentations of their Technical data, which requires very good written and oral communication skills. You need to be very intelligent about the analytical work, but also need to be very articulate to explain the results.”
4. In your opinion, which universities offer the best education in this field—Within and outside Michigan (state)?
“The best schools for Aerospace and Mechanical engineering are probably, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Purdue, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), California
Institute of Technology (Cal-Tech), Cornell, Princeton, Penn State and Michigan University. However, the rankings are always changing every year.”
5. What gave you the edge over others in this competitive field?
“I'm a very dedicated and hardworking person, whom never gives up on achieving my goals and aspirations. It takes a lot of perseverance and motivation to pursue a degree in Engineering or any STEM (Science, Technology,Engineering, Math)”
