Females weigh about 154 pounds while the male weighs up to 639 pounds
The average lifespan of the bear is about 25 years old

Bear Cubs
The Kermode Bear is actually a black bear but the white fur comes from a recessive gene from both parents.
Litter size is 2, cubs weigh a pound.

Spiritual Purpose
In local Native American culture, the spirit bear is a reminder of times past.
They think the creator made 1 white bear for every 10 black bears.
The Spirit bear shows harmony and peace.
