WORLD LOCATION

• Temperate rainforests are found along some coasts in temperate zones. The largest temperate rainforests are found on the pacific coast of North America.

CLIMATE

• Adv. summer temp- they are found at high latitudes.
• Adv. yearly rainfall- very wet (40 to 100 inches or more).
• Adv. winter temp- by 27 degrees and 80 degrees.

• Mammals are certainly found in this biome, we have seen many of them ( deers, bears, coyotes, etc) in other biomes.

• Receives more than 100 inches of rain each year.
• They adapt in a variety of ways depending on the type of plant.
