CAN CELLPHONES BE USED AS EDUCATIONAL TOOLS?

• I believe phones can be used as educational tools because there are a lot of different apps, phones are sometimes better than computers, and teachers and students can communicate with each other faster.

• Just on the apple store alone there are over 80,000 educational apps not including the Google play store. Advantages for schools are they’re not as expansive as ipads and almost all students have a phone.

• Phones are very nice. Unlike phones Computers are big & bulky, and computers can’t go everywhere. Laptops are larger but that makes typing a lot easier for people with with bigger hands ands and fingers.

• As an example teachers and students can text each other to communicate faster quietly. Many are afraid to ask questions, this is why phones (or ipads) make it easier for students.

• This shows that students will spend every waking moment on a phone. Teachers can’t check every phone every minute. Some kids will abuse it and play games or text other classmates.

• In conclusion i would like to express my opinion as to students using phones for educational purposes. Phones are our future no matter what age you are. The world is fast paced and students need to keep up.
