Hurricane Irma hit Florida as a Cat 4 storm.

RECENT HURRICANES IN PUERTO RICO

  • Two major hurricanes hit Puerto Rico in September of last year within days of each other.
  • These storms were Hurricane Irma & Hurricane Maria.
  • Some of the island of Puerto Rico is still without power to this day.

FUN FACTS

  • Hurricanes occurred before dinosaurs roamed the earth.
  • Hurricanes have wiped whole towns off the map.
  • Since Puerto Rico is a US Territory, Puerto Ricans are also Americans. So the US government should provide for them too.
