WHAT IS IT

  • Alopecia areata is a condition that causes people's hair to fall out. When a person is affected by this condition, it will, cause their hair to fall out usually in clumps. The amount of hair that falls out varies, at times it can be a few spots. And at times it can be a greater amount of hair.

WHY DOES IT OCCUR

  • Hair is lost because it is rejected by the affected person’s immune system because it doesn't recognise the follicules. Making the affected person's hair fall out.
