CREATING YOUR INDEPENDENT STUDY PLAN (ISP)

• Everyone will create an ISP
• Should be something you really look forward to working on
• You may change your mind part way through and make a new plan
• Plans may be short term or long term.
• It's really up to you.

BEGINNING YOUR Isp

• Explain your plan on a Google Form.
• Think about whether you want to share your completed plan
• You may work on the plan in school when you have no other obligations, and you may work on it outside of school.
• It's all up to you, because you look forward to doing this
• All ISP's are INDEPENDENT - no groups.

• Daily routine of using time independently and productively
• Helps you keep all the details and demands under control
• Can offer time to enjoy working on your ISP

I BLOCK ROUTINE

• Begin each I block with Google Form Checklist completed in this order:
• Record assignments, organize materials, check PowerSchool, complete makeup work, work on ISP
• Finish each I Block with a Google Form Progress Report that details what you did with your time.
• I Block = Independent Block
• Teaching you to teach yourself
