THE CAPITOL

  • The Capitol was a very beautiful, tall building.
  • The tour we did was fun, we used headphones instead of just being directly talked too.
  • There were a lot of paintings in the building as well as statuses.

LINCOLN MEMORIAL

  • The memorial had a lot of people at it, but other then that was amazing to see!
  • The actually statue / memorial itself was beautiful.
  • The amount of fame / importance Lincoln had on American history is crazy!

WW2 MEMORIAL

  • This was the first thing we went to but one, but one of the best
  • We got to see some veterans as well and thanked them for their service
  • We saw the Washington monument from the memorial as well

WASHINGTON MONUMENT

  • This monument is another thing we saw at the beginning of the trip
  • It is a simple yet meaningful monument to D.C.
  • It is a lot taller in person

VIETNAM MEMORIAL

  • This was a memorial built to respect the people who served and died during the war
  • You had to be silent well walking through the memorial to show respect
  • The memorial had lots of names of the people who died during the war

AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM

  • This museum was one of my favorites just because of how much they could fit in one building
  • There was a crazy amount of planes, drones, space related stuff etc
  • Sometimes they had a part of the plane you could go into
