1. How did the Harlem Renaissance spark a revolutionary in art, music, and literature within the African American community?

Before the 1920s, African Americans culture was unknown or unrecognized by most White Americans. However, African Americans made themselves known during the Harlem Renaissance.

But before the Harlem Renaissance, there was the Garvey movement. It's goal was to establish an independent African through return of a revolutionary.
