COLORBLINDNESS

WHO DISCOVERED IT?

  • First person to discovered it was the first person who had it obviously
  • But the first person to actually research it was john dalton

CURRENT STATUS

  • It is more often in males because it is a disorder of x chromosone
  • can it be altered with certain types of lenses in glasses but they are very expensive.

WHAT ARE THE SIGNS OR SYMPTOMS FOR THIS

  • Trouble seeing colors and the brightness
  • Not being able to tell the difference between certain colors
  • You can take a test to see if you're color blind

WHAT BODY SYSTEMS ARE AFFECTED BY THIS

  • This is a local problem within the eye and brain dealing with perception of color. It does not connect or interact with any other part of the body and cannot cause a problem anywhere else.
  • Nothing too bad can happen.

  • Genetic modes of inheritance
  • Shaken baby sydrome

TREATMENTS

  • Like I said You can get that one surgery
  • But it its from heredity you can't fix it.
