WHAT IS PHOTOSYNTHESIS?

Photosynthesis is a chemical reaction
More specifically,it is the process of altering light energy to chemical energy
Then,that chemical energy is stored as sugar
Photosynthesis usually happens in plants,but it can happen in blue-green algae
Photosynthesis always happens in the chloroplasts,using chlorophyll (the green pigment in plants)

WHY IS PHOTOSYNTHESIS IMPORTANT?

Photosynthesis is very important because:
We cannot make our own food,so we get it from plants
Photosynthesis also releases oxygen,which is vital to every organism

HOW CAN I DEFINE CELLULAR RESPIRATION?

It's the letting go of chemical energy for use by cells
It's also when the energy from sunlight is altered into chemical energy by photosynthesis
An organism needs to shape that chemical energy into a form that the organism can use
Lastly,cellular respiration is the breaking down of glucose molecules to let go of energy
