HOW DOES THIS TECHNOLOGY WORK?

  • Solar power cells convert sunlight into
  • electricity, using the energy of speeding photons
  • to create an electrical current within a solar panel.

FUTURE OF SOLAR ENERGY.

  • The future of Solar Energy is
  • being able to run houses and cars
  • on Solar Energy.

CURRENT USES OF SOLAR ENERGY.

  • Solar Energy has powered products such as
  • chargers, calculaters, radios, shavers, and
  • refrigerators.

ENVIRONMENTAL SOLAR Energy EFFETS.

  • It provides about 0.5% of the current
  • world energy supply. The rise of photovoltaic
  • technology is beneficial to the entire earth.

IS THE TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTED TODAY?

  • No, because solar panels wont produce
  • electricity at night. If there is bad weather
  • for an extended time a solar energy system
  • will provide a little output, which means you will
  • need to have a backup energy generator.

PROS&CONS OF SOLAR Energy.

  • Pros; it is reneable, abundant, sustainable,
  • environmental friendly, and silent.
  • Cons; it is expensive, intermittent, energy
  • source is expensive, exotic materials,
  • and requires space.
