Four Types of Identities (Gee)

  • ID that are part of our nature. I am white, an adult male...
  • ID that are related to positions that we have attained and that may be confirmed by groups an author, teacher, married...
  • ID the reflect personal traits that others recognize in us (sense of humor, handy with wodworking)
