JEFFREY DAHMER

CHILDHOOD

• Born May 21, 1960
• Parents: Lionel and Joyce Dahmer
• Everything seemed fine until a double hernia surgery at the age of 6
• Moved to Ohio after his brothers birth, which seemed to lessen his self confidence

CHILDHOOD CONT.

• At the age of 14 his parents were going through a divorce
• Dahmer said that his interest in necrophillia and murder came during their divorce

EDUCATION

• Dahmer graduated from Revere high school
• Attended Ohio State for only one semester

ADULT LIFE

• After graduating from highschool Dahmer had committed his first murder
• He had brought home a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks and gotten him drunk before he killed and disposed of him

ADULT LIFE CONT.

• His second murder didn't not happen for another nine years
• Between those nine years Dahmer attended Ohio State for one term, and got kicked out due to drinking problems
• After he had left his father insisted that he enlist in the military, which he did and was posted in Germany short after

ADULT LIFE CONT.

• He had spent a year in Germany before he was discharged for alcoholism
• After returning Dahmer was arrested twice for disorderly conduct
• Now to September 1987 where Dahmer committed his second mueder

AND IT BEGINS

• Dahmer had brought, Steven Toumi back to his hotel room and the both drank heavily
• This lead to Dahmer waking up the next morning with Mr. Toumi laying dead beside him
• Dahmer had purchased a large suitcase and had but the remains of his body in there, where he then proceeded to his grandmothers house to disassemble the body

KILLING SPREE

• Dahmer would go on killing people for another 4 years
• Over the first 15 months he killed 12 people, mostly African Americans at gay bars
• After killing four more men his luck ran out

ARREST

• Two police officers had picked up, Tracy Edwards a young man wandering the streets with handcuffs on
• They then proceeded to Dahmers apartment where the cops subdued him, after him giving a tough fight

DAHMERS TRIAL

• He had pleaded guilty by virtue of insanity
• The judge had found him guilty and 15 consecutive life terms

MENTAL DISORDER

• Dahmer did not have any mental disorders

CRIMES

• He started off by getting his victims drunk and then beating them to death, where he them would cut them up and store them in the fridge
• His crimes lasted 4 years and he had 17 victims

DAHMERS RELATIONSHIPS

• He had never married and had no kids
• For the most part I guess you could say he was a loner

DAHMER NOW

• Jeffery Dahmer died in prison in 1994
• He was beaten to death by a cell mate after the guards had left
• He was 34 when he died
