PARENTS CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER FOR BEATING SON TO DEATH.

The parents beat the 17 year old because he had said that he no longer wanted to be part of the church. The father had founded the church, so out of anger he took his belt off and began beating his son, the mother then took an extension cord and also joined in.

I think these parents fall into the frustration-aggression theory. Frustration-aggression theory is where deviance is a form of aggression towards a person by an individuals frustration.The father and mother got frustrated with their son and literally beat them to death.
