The Giant Panda

The Giant Panda is native to south/central China.
They can be 2-3 feet tall and 4-6 feet long.
They can weigh from 220-250 pounds.
They live to be around 20 in the wild, but live to 30 in human care.
Babies are 1/900th of the mother’s size.
The Giant Panda is a very solitary animal.
They eat 70 to 100 pounds of bamboo a day.
Their jaws are as strong as a lion’s.
They mostly communicate through scent.
