• Kazakhstan is the 9th largest country in the world
• It is located in Central Asia bordering Russia, China and Uzbekistan.
• It's capital is Astana.

SPORTS

• The two main sports in Kazakhstan are boxing and cycling. They win many medals in the olympics for these sports

CULTURE

• Kazakh culture is quite varied depending on your location.
• Because it's so big, it varies a lot on what country it borders, such as the north would have very Russian features and habits, the south would be Arab and the east would be far more oriental.

FOOD

• The food is predominantly the same, exept with more oriental influences.
• It's main food export would be apples. The conditions are perfect for their growth

• Borat is a comedy about a Kazakh reporter coming to America to learn the ways of the people.
• The first space satellites were launched from Kazakhstan. The Russians based their stations there when Kazakhstan was part of the Soviet Union
