PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Contrary to popular belief, our wars are not fought only by men. Women have been participating since 1775 , often giving their life for a cause they so deeply believe in.

Women have played many roles such as , nurses, spies, soldiers, civil rights actovists, and prompters of woman's sufferage.

In earlier years children would often lie about their age to be able to fight on the front lines. Numbers are unknown for sure but it could be as much as 400,000 underage soldiers.

Along with children not being able to fight , women were unable for a long time. Many women would disguise as men during wars. During the civil war there were at least 400 documented cases. This wasn't always a positive thing ....

Women have found themselves the target of sexual assault by 'brothers in the army' . At nearly 2x the rate of the rest of society , it is so severe that they are more likely to develop PTSD than combat trauma.......
Some think that having women in the army is a negative thing , there are some worries about romantic and sexual relations, or even getting pregnant. Yet some reports show that women In the military are 3x more likely to get RAPED than women in the general population.
These days they are making extra courses to help women soldiers to train for tasks such as us exploded ordinance awarness, biometrics, forensic, tactical questioning and more !

In my opinion I think that having women on the battle field is a great addition, many of my family members, both male and female, go into some sort of army. I hope that they are working on the rape rates and helping those who suffer from PTSD .
