RACCOON YOUNG

  • Parents are very protective of their young.
  • Babies are called cubs, like various other mammals.
  • Mothers feed their young with milk produced by their own bodies.
  • A group of raccoons is called a nursery or a gaze.
  • Young are born in litters of three to five, with a gestation of about 63 days.
