PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Extended Core students

  • I plan to use Nearpod in the classroom about 3 days a week
  • I plan to use it with my Extended Core students to teach and supplement books we are reading and thematic speech-language units

UATT Team

  • I also plan to use it with my UATT team for team meetings
  • I plan on creating trainings to use to teach other staff in the district about UATT or UATT subjects

Why Nearpod?

  • My students (children or adults) are engaged in the lesson
  • I can assess knowledge of students quickly
  • The activities are fun, but have purpose
  • The reports are helpful for data collecting
  • Can send homework home, which also allows parents to know what we are doing in speech.

  • Adds variety to my lessons/teaching
  • Great and purposeful way for students to learn and use technology
  • Easy to share lessons with and use lessons from other professionals

Untitled Slide

  • I will use any device I can get my hands on
  • I generally use iPads, iPhones (6's and 5's) and computers

  • The main instructional priorities I feel that I will focus on will be Opportunities to Respond and Positive Behavioral Supports and Classroom Management.
