Well...downstairs Mortimer's father heard all that noise and he went up the stairs.

Downstairs all of Mortimer's 17 brothers and sisters heard that noise and they came up the stairs...

Well nobody knew what to do so they called the police.

They opened the door to Mortimer's room and said in deep policemen type voices...

Well downstairs no one knew what to do. The mother got into a big fight with the policemen. The father got into a big fight with all the brothers and sisters.

While upstairs Mortimer got so tired waiting for someone to come upstairs...
In this project we demonstrated how music can tell a story.
We learned that pitch has shape and direction and goes up and down to get higher and lower.
