LEO

  • This constellation is named after lions. Al geiba is the brightest star in this constellation. The leo is the nemean lion , which was killed by Hercules on one of the 12 labors he had to perform for killing his family. It’s possible to be able to see the leo constellation here in Wisconsin around may.

LIBRA

  • This constellation was named after Greek scales. Spica and Antares are the brightest stars in this constellation. The libra constellation were thought to represent the scales in which night and day were weighed which on the date of the equinox were perfectly balanced. The libra constellation can’t be seen in Wisconsin.

ORION

  • Orion constellation is named after the hunter in Greek mythology. The Orion brightest stars are the Rigel and Betelgeuse star. Orion was a giant huntsman whom Zeus placed among the stars as the constellation of Orion. It’s possible that you can see the Orion constellation from Wisconsin.
