CAMP ALABAMA

The location of camp Alabama is in Alabama 10 km east from Montgomery city it is a nice and hot spot for all of the kids to enjoy. If you can't find the spot go to our site at www.Alabama.ca

WHO IS IT FOR

This fun camp is for boys and girls, ages 8-14. If this is your first time being at camp, don't be shy we have lots of qualified councellors that will assist you to feel comfortable! If you are an experienced, out going person, we have many challenging events for you too!

BUILDINGS

Camp office 1
Cabins for girls only/ cabins for boys only. There will be tree cabins for each.
Cafeteria building 1
Tree houses 3 they will be every were to try to find them.
Recreational centre 1
Washrooms 4 two for boys and two for girls.
Laundry building 1
Counsellor cabin 1
Guest house 2 just So if you need the extra rest to get back on the roads.…

SLEEP

The girls will sleep in the girl cabins, and the boys will sleep in the boy cabins. The instructor, director, counsellors, book keeper, cook/chef, nurse/Doctor, maintenance personnel, all will sleep in there seven directed cabins with sweets for all. Guests will sleep in the two guests houses for a maximum charge of $25 a night for a maximum time of tree days.

INDOOR ACTIVITIES

  • We have many fun and interesting things to do. These are just a few of the activities we will be doing. If you have any recommend games, talk to the counsellor at the camp.
  • Board games--monopoly, scrable, twister and cards
  • Drawing--craft supplies
  • Jewelry making--jewelry from local finds, rocks ect.
  • Movies--movies, tv, DVDs ect.
  • Badminton--rackets, birdy, Net poles.
  • Cooking--kitchen space ect.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

  • Soccer--net and ball
  • Fishing--fishing rod, ect.
  • Canoeing--boat, paddles, life jacket
  • Tag
  • Darts--dart board, darts and supervision
  • Water activities--water gear
  • Ring tosses--rings and pole
  • Water tubing--water tube, boat and boat driver
  • Hiking--long clothes, bug sprae, camera ect.

EMPLOYEES

  • To get you to know the camp better here are the employees.
  • There is one camp director, tree camp cooks/Chef, one sports instructor, one nurse/Doctor, two maintenance people, six counsellors and one book keeper.

FOOD

For the seven day camp we will be having a verity of different things to eat. We will be serving healthy and enjoyable things. On the last day we will be serving hot dogs, burgers, pizza. Plenty of fresh water.
Apples, orange, grape fruit, juice, hot chocolate.
Plenty of fresh and loaded salads.
Homemade pizza, hotdogs, burgers, lasagna, chilli
Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes, hash-browns, omelettes
Fresh vegetables, fruit, dip, granola bars, jello, ships, popcorn.
