• Bachelors degree is needed.
• Majors in writing & acting classes
• MFA (masters in fine arts)
• Degree in theatre arts.

WORK SETTINGS

• Expect long hours - 40 hour weeks
• Directors, are often put under a lot of stress & pressure
• Dealings- weather, actors, buisness, & finding their next job
• Be used to travel, and learn how to maintain patients.

WAGES & BENEFIT

• Depending on the movie your making you can earn up to 1,000 to 1,000,000
• In the beginning stages of making a film, directors are very poor, investing their life
• Saving into a movie.
• How much you earn depends on how SUCCESSFUL your movie is.
• There is no vacation time, first you work for about 6 months. And you have vacation till your next job
