Born in 1541 in England
Loved the sea.
The first English navigator to sail around the world.
Died in 1596 when he was 55 years old.
Oldest of his 12 brothers and was very poor.

In 1567 he brought slaves to the New World
He attacked and robbed Spanish settlements and claimed them for Queen Elizabeth of England.
