As you can see here this is the map of China with labels and there are a lot of different areas.

North China is where the Gobi and Taklamakan desert is and the loss goes into the yellow river and fertilizes the land around the river.

The Gobi desert, all the dust and sand from the Gobi desert goes in to the river and the Taklamakan and Gobi desert are the two main deserts.

These are the four main types of land in China.

The Taklamakan desert is the closest to the river and blows the most dust and sand into the yellow river.

The yellow river takes in all the dust and sand form the Gobi and Taklamakan desert and fertilizes the land and flows into the gulf of Tonkin and it gets the color for the loss.
